Well I wouldn't mind it as the odd warming drink, but I don't think I could start my day off on it, and continue for a year... I hope he doesn't put it all back on now, if he's eating the occassional pastie....mmmmmmm :licklips: pastie.........
Nooo I couldn't do that, I don't think I could do anything that involved me eating mainly one thing for a year - I'd end up having nightmares about it. I agree with you Teresa in that I can't see it being very healthy.
That Dr. Oz on Oprah the other day, actualy said, to lose weight better we should eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day, or something close... so if you eat oatmeal for breakfast, have it every day, just try different flavours, and if you have soup for lunch, have it every day, and it's only your dinner's that change....do most people do this... I do for the most part, not because he said so, because it's easier...done it a long time before last weeks show.
Yes, I sort of do that - porridge for breakfast. Then I've got a list of mini meals (200-250 calories each) for my late morning and early afternoon meals typically they are cheap and easy - like egg (boiled, dry fried or poached) & toast, houmous & pitta with salad, lentil or bean soup & roll, 1 tbs peanut butter on toast, banana on toast, third of a can of baked beans on toast, Greek salad. (OMG - I seem to eat a lot of toast!!!) If I open a packet or tin or something I'll have that every day until its finished. Supper is usually fruit.
Dinner is different - I try and use as many different kinds of ingredients as I can and I don't like to have the same meal twice within three weeks.
