Hi ladies. I hope you don't mind if I join you today. I'm up almost 10 pounds from my goal weight and "really" need to get back on track and lose this weight! Are any of you trying to lose right now or are you all maintaining? Hope everyone has a great day!
P.S.) I'll be adding on to my journal here and there throughout the day as I eat more. One of these days I should try and plan ahead though like you guys seem to do.

Food group servings:
Dairy: 3 Fruit: 0 Veggies: 1
Grams of fiber: 31
Water: 64 oz.

Breakfast:
3 low fat Aunt Jemima pancakes(1/1) 8 gm fiber
1/8 c. lite syrup(1/2)
1 c. skim milk (2/4)
2 Morningstar Farm breakfast links(1/5) 2 gm fiber

Lunch:
2 sl. fat free cheese(1/6)
2 sl. lite bread(1/7) 4 gm fiber

Dinner:
1 c. whole wheat rotini(3/10) 6 gm fiber
1/2 c. tomato sauce(1/11) 3 gm fiber
2 sl. lite bread with b.s. (1/12) 4 gm fiber
1 c. skim milk(2/14)

Of course Jamie you are always welcome.

I fluctuate between trying to maintian and toying with the idea of losing a couple of pounds. But lately it's mostly maintenance, thus the higher point range.

Jamie: I am definitely trying to lose right now.

If I remember, didn't you do this on your own before? You did a great job, but do you think now you might want to go to a meeting and get some more support? I don't know if you didn't do it because of your schedule, finances or location, but if you can, it may be a good investment for you.

Aren't there meetings in Portland or Falmouth or the Freeport area? Ah Freeport, home of LL bean and the coach outlet store .

Thanks LM and LaLa for the warm welcome.
LaLa, I did do WW's on my own. Good memory! I actually don't live in Freeport anymore. We've lived in Bath for almost a year now. Do you travel to Maine alot? You seem to be pretty familiar with the area. After I got to goal I managed to maintain within a few pounds for a couple of years. For awhile I counted points and then did it on my own. Even on my own I managed to maintain because I kept eating good and exercising alot, but a little under a year ago my good habits went out the window because some stuff happened in my family that made me pretty depressed. This past year has been pretty rough. My mother seeminly out of nowhere left my dad and moved in with her brother and his wife right down the road from us. A few months later she finally admitted to being involved with another man. My father, sister, and I were totally devastated. To make a long story short my father is doing pretty well now, and my mom seems totally miserable. (The "other man" left her. Big suprise, huh)? Anyways, here I am now almost 10 pounds up from my goal and feeling pretty down about it. I went to Old Navy to buy new jeans because the ones I had were pretty worn out, and the 6's that I usually wear weren't even close to fitting. So..I guess you could say that was a big wake up call for me. Right now I'm wearing some 7/8 Lerner jeans from a long time ago and even those aren't close to as loose as they used to be. Argh! I'm meeting my husband's boss the first time tomorrow night at a cocktail party he and his wife are hosting, and I just feel awful that I'm not going to be able to look my best. Also, my sister is having a christening for her baby boy in two weeks and alot of people will be there who I haven't seen for a long time, so that also motivates me to try and slim down more by then. I've thought about going to meetings, but for now at least I think I'll do just fine getting my support from these boards. You guys are great. I feel bad that I haven't been actively posting on these boards, but I guess I felt a little ashamed that I let myself gain so much weight back.
Sorry for writing a book here everyone!

Hang in there Jamie. Lots of us have come back because we gained a "little". Over the past year, I slowly gained 14 over my dream weight and 8 over goal. Between June and August I lost 10.6, and then due to some vacation and sad family stuff gained back 4.2 of that. The past couple of weeks I can't seem to break the additional eating that's keeping me at a plateau, but eventually I will. I do know, that I'd probably still be gaining if I hadn't had this thread to first vent and then regroup on.

Ooops. Forgot to write down my points...

Morning (5)
bagel and cof

Midday (6)
Fish Tacos, cof

Evening (est 12)
dinner with friends while DH is out of town
beer - 3, sushi - 4, eel - 2, shrimp - 2

Total - 23 (banked 2)

Hi Jamie,

My DP's aunt lives in Milton,NH and her family is from Natick and she went to school in Hanover,NH. One of our good friends just moved back to Orono and her family is from Falmouth, so I am getting to know the area.

I like to visit, but your winters would do me in.

I would figure out if there is a meeting you could go to that would make you accountable to a scale and a group once a week, if it can work with your schedule. Of course, I could also take my own advice and figure out how to stay in town long enough to make a meeting once a week.

Sounds like some of your family problems are working themselves out. I can relate to the tight jean problem myself. I tried on a pair this morning that I will reassess next week.
