I'm sorry. I really don't know, as I didn't have that problem. I can't drink caffeine anyways because of my blood pressure. But I do get migranes, and you can take a med or a hot shower and a nap always helps me. Good luck to you, and hang in there. It's sooooooooooooo worth it! You'll see!

I can't handle caffeine so I also didn't have the withdrawal symptoms. But for any time I have a headache I find that Ibuprofen works best for me. Getting rid of the pain might help the other symptoms of caffeine withdrawal.

I took ibuprofen and drowned my self in water.

I had MASSIVE headaches. So I walked and took asprin and drank water. It helps!

Get outside, breathe some fresh air...seriously.

Don't quote me on this.... but I think I read where someone had posted that eating an orange helps with the headaches. I had them. But, I didn't read about the orange until after phase 1. I took advil. After the 3rd day... they were gone. Give it a couple more days, at least. I do still drink diet drinks.. but caffeine free ones. And not as many as before.

Thank you. I was so sick that night, I was throwing up! My husband got so mad at me. I am restarting with a neighbor this Monday. We can take walks together. Maybe that will help. I will be sure to stock up on Advil!

I had mild headaches the first day but I don't have a ton of caffeine usually.

But what a scary thought, that our bodies became THAT addicted to it that it would cause you to be so sick and in pain from withdrawals!
