This board sure isn't very busy. Are we all to busy to post? Are you all doing okay? If not, let's get this thing going and show /give/get support. Isn't that what TOPS is all about? Anyone interested in doing a menu log? Does it help to see what everyone else is eating and being accountable for what we eat?

I just posted my weekly weight to the Turkey Day Challenge, and I'm up 1.75 pounds. I was doing great until the weekend...was posting all of my food to FitDay etc and exercising 45 minutes a day. Then on Sat and Sunday I was out of town and I ate chips (salty) and some candy. Today, I'm back on track eating-wise, but I strained mt back and can not go to the gym. I'll try walking tonite if I can. Maybe the weight gain last night was water weight from the salty chips. Next week, right?

I was shocked to see you girl...in a good way of course I miss you and summer and mom when you arent here...it is just not the same without any of you, How have things been? I am still staying at home and being (moms taxi) as the girls are in just about every activity they can think of LOL, I cant imagine having to work and keep up with their schedules Band,track, basketball, girlscouts, chior (both at church and school)...can you tell they keep my hoppin..I love every minute Hope to see you on here more often, I miss ya girl, oh and Happy late B- Day

Lyn, hope you are doing better...don't give up...we all have set backs. But the key is to acknowledge that we have not eaten right, and get right back on track. You can do it! I know you are doing better now.
Just got back from my youngest son's football game. They won so that means they will be in the play-off's. This was varsity, he usually plays on JV but one of the seniors got hurt and couldn't play so they moved Brady up. (He is a soph.)The JV's won there game on Thursday, they were 10-0. Needless to say, we are very proud of him, and not just for athletics. It was so cold.....real football weather. ( I'd just as soon it not be so cold! I almost froze. My DH gave up and went to the car for a while!)

Thanks for the encouragement, Mickey. I just walked for 70 minutes in 40 degree weather. I think I did well this week. Off to a fund-raiser this afternoon where it will be a challenge to stay in line. All the food and beer you want, while all kinds of raffles go on. I plan to stay with diet coke, one roast beef sandwich, salad and 1 brownie.
