Default Question of the Day 10/12

Does anyone realize how much time we spend worrying about our bodies and changing our lifestyles to look and feel better?

My question is, what would you devote your time to if this worry was gone?

I think I would try adventure sports... kayaking, hiking (in more interesting places), rafting... just learning new fun outdoorsy things. Oh, and i want to go skydiving, but don't want to tell the parachute man how much I weigh, isn't that sad?)

Or maybe mentoring, that would be fun and fulfilling.

I don’t know if the worrying will ever go away. After years of yo-yo dieting and now having made a lifestyle change that is actually working for me I realize that if I have to make a choice everyday to live my new lifestyle then I will fall back into my old ways and gain all of the weight back plus more. Maybe it will change in the future, maybe it is because I’ve only been doing this for 5 months, maybe I’m just not an optimist when it comes to my weight loss, but for now that is my answer.

I would travel! Anyplace, anytime...In my family we are HUGE sports fans, baseball especially, and we have this goal that we want to go to games in all the MLB stadiums in North America....We've gone to 4 already...got just a "few" more to do!

I want to go to Europe and see my friends over in Germany, Belgium, and Ireland, and then go see my friends in Aussieland... It would be so cool!

I'd learn a new language - preferably Spanish, since I'm going to Central and South America in the summer. I'm still gonna try and fit this in somewhere, but it'd be a lot easier if I wasn't spending time entering stuff on fitday!
And writing, I've always wanted to write a book.

I don't know what I would do in place of worrying during the day but I can bet I'll get more sleep. Of course if Im slimmer(not skinny) I would probably want to do more in public activities so I'd probably spend time planning those.

I would be more daring. If we were out on a country walk and friends were jumping over a stream I'd join in instead of thinking of a reason not to.

I'd have more sex... with the light on!

haha I agree with 2 frustrated, if you took out my blogging on this site along with a few other searches on other health sites, and my online food/exercise/weight log I would do a lot more at work. And maybe I would make more plans to go out with friends. Right now I dread going out because I don't like dressing up and knowing in a bar that everyone is looking only at my friends and laughing at me.
