Default Biggest Loser UK

Anyone watching? It looks like a good group this year.

I would love to do something like that, but I wouldn't want to be filmed in a swimming suit!

Has anyone notice the Biggest Loser Challenge on the Exercise Board? Maybe that's someone we could do.

I hope I'm not the only one watching.

Hi Michele,

It's on LivingTV, channel 112 on Sky on Wednesday nights at 9. The first show just finished.

Although, I think the rate of weightloss sets an unrealistic expectation, it's great motivation to see how their bodies change.

Thanks for reminding me about this - I've not seen this series, I did see the previews and meant to watch it. It's one of those programmes where I see an episode, miss 2 and see another - I'll set it up for recording later then hopefully I might not miss most of this one.

You didn't miss much by not seeing the first show. It was mainly to introduce the losers and putting them into teams. There was a weigh-in, but I think it always gets better towards the end anyway.

I saw the end bit, I watched extreme makeover after that. I'd love to go on EM when I manage to lose the weight

I saw it last night I'm a bit behind as I haven't actually got the channel so have to wait for it to be passed on. It's a bit odd isn't it? and all the women were thinner than me I hope they mix the teams up more soon as the blokes are obviously going to lose more.

It's based on the % loss rather than pounds lost so it should equal out.

I absolutely LOVE the Biggest Loser - UK or US version! I agree that their weight losses are totally unrealistic to most of us, bit like you say, its really good motivation as you see their bodies change. I'm sure that if we were sent away to a place where we had a trainer for us everyday and meals were all worked out for us, we would be losing a lot more - but the real world just gets in the way!

I think it is a good group, I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes for them all. Loved the bit when the guys mooned at the only girl in their group!!

I watched Biggest Loser, they were all so disappointed to lose 7lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those unrealistic weight losses are something else but its still watchable.
The clip from next week showed one of the blokes being carted off to A & E
I have often wondered how the hearts of some of the men would hold up doing such strenuous exercise when they have probably been sedentary for many years. Worrying I think.

Goodnight everyone godbless

Michele
