The Great Featherweight One Week Challenge - Sept 25th - Oct 1st
October 1st! How did that happen?!
I'll throw out this weeks challenge. I'm going to walk more than once a day and keep my calories under 1800. Hopefully after I go to the chiropractor on Thursday, I'll get at least one lifting day in.
I need to see some movement on those scales. Heaven knows I've been active enough ... I just need to weedle down those calories. Today was a good start!
Hey girls YES, another week where does the time go?
This week well I'm just gonna keep plugging away... eating clean, exercising, I'm looking forward to seeing the scale move... I hate plateaus, they are hard to get through without giving up!!
Here I am for the weekly challenge. So far this week has been good to me. I've been eating healthy, and as far as exercose. today I go to the gym, then later to my Tai Chi class.
I'm not in the greatest of moods right now, but I'm checking in anyway... although I'd much rather go hide under a bed, where there just happens to be a box of cookies. (Metaphorically speaking, of course...?) I hope you're all doing awesome; I'm sorry to say the past two days have been less than great for me. Aarrgh....Why does it have to be so hard to lose fifteen freaking pounds? Ah, well.
Kudos to all of you for not taking your eyes off your goals.
Elizabeth, my bed has fried chicken under it. Let's hope tomorrow is better.
Haha!! It’s good to be reminded that there IS a comical side to all of this! (I do hope you were joking, Jazzbird… otherwise, we may have to arrange for a trade-in one of these days: my cookies for your fried chicken. No demands, no pressure—just think about it.)
Ilene, thanks for the hug--I needed it!
Well, my goal for the remainder of this week is to get back on track, so I can start anew on Sunday, Oct. 1st. It’s a humble goal with few restrictions and no whining allowed...
Well, my weight's been down a little the last few days. Tomorrow's my official weekly weigh-in, so hope it doesn't bounce back up like it's done so many times. I'm shooting for getting to the final goal by my birthday in April. That means I only have to lose about 2/3 pound per week. That's doable, I think.
Yay, Jazzbird! You're one whole pound closer to your goal!!
I honestly don't even want to look at the scale anymore. It's becoming a constant source of annoyance, false alarms and bitter disappointments. Makes me feel as if I'm paranoid, really... and if it were one of those talking scales, it'd probably tell me so, too.
Anyway, I'm officially back on track, as of today!
Cheers & let's have an awesome October!!
