Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting on Low Carbs. I just wanted to say that I live approximately 20 minutes from NYC...1 mile from my house you could see what was once the WTC buildings. I know several people who have family members that worked at the WTC.....only one of them has made it home alive.

I didn't want to put another damper on your day I just wanted to say that dieting is very important and its important to be healthy, physically and mentally but just remember....its more important to love ourselves just the way we are first because life is to short to go thru it being miserable..... I was kicking myself in the tookas because the weight wasn't coming off fast enough....Stupid huh considering all thats going on around us...
Lets just make one another first priority instead of making silly things like "not losing FAST ENOUGH or at all" first.

You are so right about loving your self. it is very imoportant and needed in this world today. I also will add to respect your self and to love your self will give you the needed confidenct to help lose the weight.

Little Sister, how did you manage to post and I missed it?? It's great to see you here. These are the nicest people.
You're right when you say we should take care of ourselves, but considering this past weeks events, I really wasn't thinking straight. I think, like the rest of us, I was simply putting one foot in front of the other. Sorta like the "walking wounded".
Anyway,Leenie, remember to take a few minutes for yourself...even if baby Gracie is the cutest little fart-blossom in the world!
