Hi Ilene! What kind of challenge is this? Any rules or guidelines? I see you've got your goals out there--good for you!

I've been 7 days without wine...!? The scale is showing a change, but my ticker still says 143. That's because I went up to 145 right at the beginning of September and I didn't want to acknowledge it!! I am back to 143 and ready to lose those 4 more pounds this month. I had a good Saturday, but today has been kind of rough--crackers and potato chips (what was I thinking?). I did finally get in my 4+ mile walk/hike with DH! It felt great, although I'm sure I'll really feel it tomorrow LOL.

This week
I will eat clean, whole foods (nothing processed)
I will not drink wine
I will drink water
I will get out for my walk at least once (I wish I could get it done daily--I really miss it)

Jazz, no big rules except to help one another stay on track and come here and be accountable for our actions whether they are good or bad...

Allison -- Good for you for not having any wine!! I had some on Friday night and 2 beers today... I'm back on the straight and narrow tomorrow...

To add to my goals this week:

- No wine till I reach 145

I will go to bed by 11pm

Allison & Ilene, I admire you gals for giving up the wine. I may try that next week--one step at a time.

I'm not that good!!! I had a beer with lunch both Saturday and Sunday!

So far today, I am off to a good start--berries, berries and more berries for breakfast, yogurt and a salad packed for snack and lunch today, and a BIG salad planned for dinner tonight. I can see a pound coming off.....

Today food was good (of course it's always good ) but you know what I mean

I had:
m1-oatmeal and eggwhites
m2-cc and mango
m3-.25c peanuts and a peach
m4- filet of sole, .50c pasta and sauce

I worked legs at the gym 50 mins... I went at night too! Which I never do, but I worked today and I absolutely, positively HAD to get my workout in...

Default In the bag--almost

So far, so good. Did yoga and rode the stationary bike in the morning. I'm below calorie budget for the day, so I'm having a glass of wine before bed. Good luck to all.

Yesterday was a slight rest day exercise-wise, just teaching kickboxing, but we had a GREAT class and I showed off A LOT!

Food was spot-on. Even under 1400kcals. At this rate the scales should be making me happy - but they're not. Neither is the tape measure. I'm going to pick up my dress on Saturday and it's not going to be pretty

I'd love to join this challenge. You guys are so inspiring.

My goals for the week:
1. Count calories - portion control
2. Exercise daily
3. Lose another pound

Since I started reading these boards last Friday, I went from 152 to 147.2!

Good luck to everyone this week!

Hey Dena!! on the weight loss already... This site is the best I have been a member since 2001 and come here regularly for my 3fc fix ... I never realised before I met all these wonderful people that weightloss was difficult for everyone, I thought I was alone, imagine my surprise when I met all these like minded folks ...

Today so far, so good... Went to the gym and did shoulders tonight I run with my gal pals, 5k...

Food so far is :

1- oatmeal and eggwhites
2- chocolate pp and wild rice... weird combo I know but hey it's a protein and a carb
3- .5 cup beans, 5oz tuna, olive oil and lemon, cherry tomatoes, onion, salad

Oh let's see what should my goals be.

1. Watch what I eat

2. Go for walk, bike ride or exercise each day

3. Work on plan to set goals and rewards, I think this would be a good motivater(Plus I get stuff lol). I lost 5 pounds and went and bought myself a new pair of good running shoes. Now I guess I should use them but It's been raining the last two days. Does anyone else do this?

Well good luck everyone!

The rest of my day:

5 tortilla rounds with a baba ganoush/hummus spread...5 tortillas is way toooo much and now I can't eat for the rest of the evening...

I made this spread this afternoon, I had a couple of eggplants that I wanted to get rid of...
