Default No no no no!

I'm a stupid fool. Just thought I'd treat myself to a few oven chips with my tuna salad as I've not had any for a while and I thought that 150 cals per 1/2 pack was quite good going........NO, dozy mare it's 150 cals per 1/12 pack!! think I had about just under 1/4 so thats at LEAST 500 cals. I'm a total moron.

Are you sure it's not a typo? For 1/12 of a pack of baked chips to be 150 cal it must be a pretty big bag. Was it a large bag or like a snack machine size?

Well it's not all bad as I've somehow managed to lose another 2lbs Not entirely sure how this has happened though......I am suspicious and won't take it as gospel for another few days! Plus now it's "that time" so I always put on about 6lbs immediately! But it has to be said I'm feeling quite smug

Not necessarily... I started off near where you are now and I have no loose skin

You might want to check out the stickies at the Maintenance section for loose skin enquiries.

You're avatar is v cute anyway!

Not to worry Riot Rose - we all make those mistakes!

I remember feeling really virtuous 'cos I bought a tin of Weightwatchers creamed rice pudding. As I love the ambrosia one I thought I could not go wrong. Well it was disgusting! Also according to SW it was around (can't remember exactly but around ) 13 to 15 syns!!

I also always make a mistake when buying soup. I always veer towards the 15 syns ones.

I can't eat oven chips any more because they feel so fatty in my mouth. - even the low fat ones!

I make my own oven chips or wedges - its dead easy, cheaper and a lot less calories - just chop up the spuds in to chip or wedge shape pieces, put them in to a bowl and stir in 1 teaspoon of oil (I use olive oil) and stir like mad with a wooden spoon until each bit has a very light coating, turn on to a hot baking tray, sprinkle with salt or seasoning (my favourite is mexican seasoning) and then bake until golden.

If you want to make it quicker you can microwave or boil them until they are half cooked before cutting them up.

Alternatively, if you've got the spray stuff, just lay 'em out on the baking sheet and spray them before sprinkling the seasoning on. Equally as nice.

The daftest mistake I ever made was eating a cheese scone in a cafe. I scanned the menu to try to find the lowest cal thing and the cheese scone seemed innocent enough - until I got home and worked out that I could have had a roast dinner with the amount of calories that the cheese scone had in it!
