WTG Phyllis!!! That is fantastic!!

Cathy, I am right there with you this week. I had a 2 lb gain with the arrival of TOM. I will push the water this week so I can see a loss before leaving for vacation next Sunday. Then I will have another gain while on vacation. Then when I get back, I MUST get serious. I went from 181 a year ago to where I am hanging out in the high 180's - UNACCEPTABLE!

Keep going everyone! No matter what happens with the battles, don't give up on your war!

STS for me this week...I really have to pay more attention to what I put in my mouth...I know write in a journal...I think I will try that tomorrow.

Today was a rotten Monday...had to really concentrate to do regular things...I guess I was just really tired from having my family over yesterday for my son's birthday. I could finally have them over because we got air conditioning last month yea!!!

Way to go Phyllis! Your going in the right direction! Hopefully we all can loose with you this week!

Vicki, have you ever tried Fitday....It's an on line journal and free. You enter the foods and it gives the calories, vitamins, etc. and also you can put in your exercise for the day. I use it to totals for the day as I have to limit protein and potassium and it gives me those numbers. Take a look at it, a lot of women use it here at 3fc. Once you start entering your foods it won't take as long because once you enter your food it comes back up everytime and is a lot faster.

I am trying the fitday thanks for the idea. It seems a bit more complicated than I had in mind though, but I will give it a whirl. keeping it up will be the challenge here. I have a habbit of just throwing things together, and this wants better measurements...is there a way to add something without the nutritional info? That would be a real time saver for me at least till I can get into the habbit.

Fitday has a lot of food already in it but you will have to add yours if not. But once you add it to the list it stays there so it does get easier and faster.

I will do really well doing fitday everyday for like a week, then I slack off but will start again. It just really gives you a good idea of what your eating calorie wise and that can help with the portion sizes too.
