Default Newbie who is working on changing her life.

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie as far as posting, however, I have been an avid reader. I am really impressed with everyone's dedication.

So after yoyo dieting for so long I decided to just eat right and excercise. I am not on a diet, just making a change in my life. I have been going to the gym and making sure that I eat right. I do eat something daily that isn't "good" for me, but it is usually half the portion or early in the morning. Of course there are the days that I really have to work hard at not beating myself for eating really late or eating bad all day. I try to make up the next day and not let it bog me down.

I have been noticing my progress slowly. Some cool changes that have happened are that I am more flexible than I was before since I took up aerobics. I bought a balance ball so that I am in constant motion while I am at my desk. I haven't weighed myself lately, but I have lost some inches. I have noticed that the days that I don't go the gym it really affects me and I feel an urge to go.

So I live in California and I am married. I just turned 30. I don't have any children yet. I work and I try to take classes that will help me grow professionally.

To finish off, I don't know where my journey will lead me and I really hope that I don't give up since I am taking the long road.

Thanks for reading.

JP

Hello JP, and welcome! I don't "diet" either but as you said, just eat right and exercise!

Glad you are here! Greetings from just up north.

Hi there! Welcome aboard!! Nice choice on the balance ball. I fell off mine a couple of years ago and let someone talk me into popping it. Now I just have to buy a new one I loved my balance ball though!! You'll find lots and LOTS of support here! Look forward to hearing about your progress
