Good Morning Everyone,

Spent some time last night planning a Christmas shopping trip to the northern part of France. My DD and SIL went there last year at Christmas & loved it. There is an area bordering Germany with many Christmas villages. My sister, my DH & SIL, and I will all go.

Today is the dentist again. Yuck. Last time I was in a lot of pain for around 2 weeks after. I lost 5 lbs., but then promptly put them back on again.

This afternoon, I hope to make a Birthday card for my scrapping friend. Tomorrow I'm supposed to see my Little Sister during the day & then go to a card-making class in the evening.

I'm trying to keep busy with happy things.

Have a great day,

Lynn

Wow Lynn that sounds like a wonderful trip....how lovely that would be to see at Christmas time.

Keeping yourself busy right now is the perfect thing to do. Time will go by faster and time in this case is very healing.

Marcie, hope your first day on the job goes well. What kind of job do you have? Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it.

I'm going to work really hard this week to try to lose at least 2 lbs...going to up my walking and do some 8mm along with it (if I can find my book).

Have a good week everyone.

Oooh lala a trip to France. Sounds wonderful. My mom is French and her and her sister went last summer back to where they grew up. I was just looking over those pictures yesterday.I so want to do a European vacation.
I went for a 2 mile walk with my mom this morning. A dog followed us, we stopped at it's house and no one was home. We tried to put him in their backyard but there were 2 other dogs back there and he wasn't going in. So he followed us to here and I called and left a message that he's here. So we'll see if he stays or ends up heading back to his house. Right now he's laying in the shade and we put a bowl of water out for him. It's too hot and humid for him to be left roaming about.
Well gotta go get a shower, we're going out to the Naval/Air Force base. I'll check in later.
Kick it up a notch challenge today is to drink all your water.

Hi everyone,

Back to the daily grind. I must say that it is easier for me to stay on track during the week! OK, I am going to try to get in all my water today!

I ended up eating way to much pizza last night. I didn't weight myself today. I am trying to make up for it a bit today by eating less.

OK...have a great one!

Phyllis and Marcie, my DD and I found a GREAT new wine store (almost like a museum - has a room for each country) nearby. Unfortunately, until I get my surgery done, I'm taking pain pills & don't want to mix them with wine.

Anita, we know you can do it. This time, I'm going to follow in your footsteps.

Cathy, what part of France does your mother come from? I've been on the Mediterranean & through Provence & to Paris. I LOVE it all. Don't believe anything anyone tells you about French people not being friendly. They are WONDERFUL!

Just a quick one. Job went great. I'm a receptionist at a medical office. I'll try to write more later. Time with kids is precious now.

Take care everyone

Wow, Lynn that sounds like a GREAT wine store....I don't think we have anything like that around here.

We bought 2 bottles when we were at the Biltmore Estate, they had a wonderful wine tasting there. They had an estate merlot that we just loved, wish we had bought more.

Marcie, glad the job has started off well.
