Default eat to live week #4

Good morning hwo is everyon this morning? It's been kind of quite around here lately.
San I'm glad your have a good time was it your birthday that you had cake or someone ealses? If it was your birthday then happy birthday and if it wasn't then happy un birthday

I hope to here from the rest of you soon

I spent my afternoon cooking yesterday. I made a big pot of stew and 7 zip lock bags of salad. Ya know mushrooms aren’t that bad who knew. Last night my teeth started to bug me so I ate mashed potatoes with corn and bbq sauce not the best eat to live idea but at least it was on program.

Saturday

Breakfast: blended salad with blue berries, banana, mandarin oranges& spinach.

Lunch: veggie wrap with cucumbers. Red onions, Spinach, artichoke hearts, and red bell peppers and ½ of a soy lean bar

Dinner: about a cup of mashed potatoes with corn and bbq sauce (comfort food sigh) also a hand full of white chocolate m&m’s (at least it wasn’t the whole bag) and one bread stick from the olive garden.

Sunday

Breakfast big salad with lettuce, broccoli, celery, tomatoes, red peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, sugar peas, onion, and ½ cup beans salsa and tofu sour cream

Lunch blended salad with, mandarin oranges, strawberries, banana, and spinach.

Dinner vegetable soup

Wink I'm back!

Okay, I've been outa my house and off E2L for 2 WEEKS! Yikes! I've been eating better for me overall so that's an improvement. But I did return to chocolate & vodka (straight w/o fruit juice!) & seafood. Gotta break my caffeine and sugar addiction! I noticed that I'm not as hungry on E2L as I am when I eat nonveg. Going to the store today and getting back on track. I'm going to make some salad dressing if I can't find what I want. Plus that magic loaf I got from the other site someone mentioned. Has anyone made their loaf? Rambling

How is everyone?

Gotta get my focus back too. I noticed that I do much better if I'm keeping track of my calories including fat/carbs/protein. I must re-read my notes b/c I've forgotton what I plan on eating and when. Thanks for posting your menus; it provides a great guide.

welcome back sarah well don't feel bad I've been doing it only losely and taco bell and chocolate ( white chocolate m&m's from the devil himself ) creeped into my diet the last week or so. You really should try the blended salad it is really yummy sounds gross but not. also remeber to keep it simple fruit for breakfast, salad with beans and fruit for lunch. salad and two cooked veggies for dinner and more fruit for dissert. and some beano along the way lol at least I needed some

hey there! sorry I haven't been posting the last few days... been busy, stressed, and in spite of eating like gandhi, gaining a few pounds. boo. So naturally I decided that I was entitled to some tater tots from Sonic if I was going to gain anyway, lol.

I'm having a salad with hummus as we speak. I'll be going away for a week starting Wednesday, and I may wind up eating more grain and nuts than usual due to the lack of vegan food available. We'll see what my options are, but I'll do my best to keep things reasonable.

OK, we just built a fort in the Living room, that ought to keep them occupied long enough for me to ask: blended? Do you just put it all in a blender and drink it? What about fiber content? Does it then become fruit/vegetable juice and become a banned item on E2L? Really, as with everything, I overanalyze. It's just good that I'm eating mainly planted based! Oops, gotta go fix the roof on the fort...

Hey SSarah glad you have seen an improvement despite not being on track. Really shows an overall improvement. I still drink sodas every now and then. I would definitely break "the addiction" LOL but drinking sodas in moderation isnt bad. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water especially now that it is summer. Good luck with everything!

Thanks VelVeeta for your words of encouragement!

gggbDomino, I too have found that I feel much better when I eat E2L. Can't say that I'm looking forward to my cycle but I'll be interested in seeing if PMS is easier. I've read where Dr. F will publish a cookbook of ETL recipes and menu plans by the end of the year. I personally have purchased several new healthy cooking books lately. I guess I best start cooking again! It's hard to get back into my routine. Oh, and I'm not sick anymore so that helps!
