Default Husband is having shoulder surgery

Well, John found out from the orthopedic surgeon that he's having shoulder surgery. They said from the CT scan that there is no way that damage will heal on its own. The original surgeon sent him to a different guy in the practice who specializes in shoulders. They are trying to get him in on Friday. He has an appointment on Thursday to find out for sure.

Sorry to hear this...but maybe it is for the best. I guess his bike riding days are over for the summer! Your family is in my thoughts and prayers

Susan - I hope everything goes well for hubby. What a terrible time of year to have something like that happen. At least my hubby's accident was in Nov, so it was the dead of winter while he recuperated.

How are you feeling? I hope all is going well for you. I'll keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers!

Sharon

They have now scheduled his surgery for next Tuesday night -- they had to squeeze him into the surgeon's schedule so it's at 6:00 p.m.

So we had to cancel our vacation for next week. At least American Airlines was nice enough to give us a general credit for the entire cost of our airline tickets. We are going to try to go in September instead. I want to see my Mommy -- it's been almost 2 years!

Plus, he had his big "V" surgery yesterday, so he's a tad bit cranky. I may have to work overtime for the next couple of days (hee hee).

Susan, How did the surgery go? Wasn't it yesterday?
You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.
