Talking We finally get to move!! (OT)

We had the final inspection on the house last night and was given the OK to move into the new one. You can bet we got all our beds and dining room table moved last night (The house is sitting just in front of where we live now for those that don't know) and I got to take a nice long, luxurious not too hot bath last night in my new big tub. . We have 3 weeks to move and salvage what we want out of the old house before it will be moved off.

They'll still come out and do the guttering, roof over the porch, a carport and then even out the ground but I don't care we'll have the bulk of stuff moved by this weekend. I do feel a bit helpless since I can't lift much right now but I'm just going to let them bring stuff over and I can sort the boxes.

How exciting! (OK, except for the being pregnant while trying to move part!!) Hopefully you can get all your friends and family over to help you out.

BTW - are you finding out what you're having this time?

Wow - congrats!!! That is so exciting!

We are renovating & living without a kitchen or shower right now. It will be wonderful when it is done.

You appreciate something so much more when you haven't had it.

Dawnyal...that's awesome!!!

I'm so happy for you!

So..a question for you...how long did it take from delivery to your property until yesterday?
I'm hoping you're gonig to say not long...because I just can't wait to get my Mom into her new one! It's being built right now and will be delivered in July...she got to draw her own floorplan and everything...she's getting the big tub too

She deserves this so much...this has all been such a long ordeal.

You must be so completely excited!!!!!
Congrats again

Dawnyal, that's GREAT! I didn't know anything about this, so I'm catching up now. I'm so happy for you! Isn't it great to move into new digs? It's a lot of work, but I love it. It just gives you such a feeling of starting a new chapter, and it's all about the possibilities and all fresh and new. I love it!! BIGTIME congrats on your luxurious bath....I'm with you girl! That's going to be the first thing I do in my new house when we get to move in. I'll bet your kids are excited!

I'm just really happy for you, Dawnyal....you deserve every pleasure coming to you. (And more!)

We signed on it in December so about 5 months but you have to realize that we got it under a federal grant program and they technically had 18 months to complete it. It's been sitting in front of us since the end of Feb. It only took them a week or so to actually set it up. We've been dealing with a new septic, water and electric lines and minor repairs. The company was paid earlier this week and that was the only thing holding us up from moving in for the last month or so.
