I had snuck up to wearing 3x shirts sometime in the past year and a half. The 2x's still mostly fit, but were too snug for my taste, especially across the chest... so 3x it was. I had noticed they were getting baggier and that 2x was getting more comfortable, but not really paying much attention. Last night while hubby and I were walking I noticed that my 3x shirt was getting seriously uncomfortable! It's now so baggy in the arm holes and shoulder area that I was chafing my upper arms. I just can't wear them anymore as daily wear... time to rotate all my 3x's into "nightgown" wear! Woot!
Ugh! Good riddance! Maybe it would be best to get them out of the house completely. I'm right where you're at ... the 3X's mostly don't fit any more, and 2X's look good. Congrats!
Good for you! CONGRATS!!
I was doing the same thing that you were with the difference between 3 x and 2 x.
My 3x's do sleep well though!
Our next goal is have the 2x's as night shirts...
Congrats!!! that is awesome!!! don't you just love it when something like that sneaks up on you?!?!? good job!!! keep doing what your doing and you'll be in a size without an x before you know it!!!
Congralutions! Isn't it wonderful when you suddenly realize that your clothes are too big? If I may offer some advice, though, get those 3Xs out of the house. Getting rid of them is a very symbolic step that will confirm and encourage you in your quest for fitness.
Congratulations. I gave my XX's away. Except the one with a beer logo on it, (my aunt wouldn't have appreciated that one). But, it makes for a fine sleep shirt.
Thanks everyone! I'll probably keep the tees for nightshirts rather than get rid of them, most of them anyway, as they are interesting ones I bought at a couple of geek conventions over the past couple of years. Plus, a couple of my even more giant nightshirts are ready for the heap, they are soooo worn out!
