Wink Well I Suppose This is an NSV...

Today at lunch time I was close to a TCBY so thought I would go in and see if they had any of the sorbet and if so get it for lunch. Well... I walked in and they just had all the yogurts... chocolate, vanilla, whatever... no sorbets. But... I looked around at all the signs with pictures of yogurt with candy bits in it, all the bowls of "junk" to put on the yogurt, Coke machines... walls were covered with pix of all this... and my honest thought was "YUCK" -- this stuff looks NASTY! It was SO unappealing that I just turned around and walked out! LOL has MY thinking ever changed... or WHAT?

lol Misti, I used to love ice cream and I ate it by the halfgallon- now I cant even have 4 spoons of it. In fact, I get a spoon of chocolate sorbet from Haagen Daz and I'm good!

(well, I can't say that I resist sweets. Its kinda the week before TOM and I had 1 hunt's chocolate pudding cup and 2 giant rice crispies today...)

Hi Veggielover... oh ice cream used to be my downfall too! Yikes I could eat the stuff forever. AND pile it full of chocolate bits, crunchy choco and butterscotch topping, etc. Now for "sweets" I eat Yoplait yogurt LOL

I agree completely, Lilybelle! These boards help me to focus on the positive too!!!! It is so wonderful to have all these caring cyberfriends to be on the same team with and rejoice in each other's victories... and share in our "blah" moments too!

That's great Misti. I know what you mean, I'm a sucker for ice cream too. I used to LOVE choclate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches.. that is, until I read that there was 23g of fat in them I still have my ice cream though, I eat the weight watchers ice cream sandwiches.. 2g of fat.. what a change

Good for you, Miz! Yah a real switch! You can also make pretty good ones by putting cool whip or spray light whipped cream between graham crackers, wrapping it in saran wrap and freezing. I used to do that quite a bit.

I don't think I'll ever be able to resist ice cream. I am in awe of your will power!

Well for me it is not about will power! Yeeks I don't have that much. It is just a decision that I made that I will not stuff junk into that little hole in my face! Let's just hope I can still say that after my cruise next month LOL. I intend to keep it up!!!
