I just found this website today and I am pleased to see a Religious support group. My grandson is 4 months old and has to have tubes put into his ears on May 1. He is also having an MRI done because his head is too big. It is in the 100th percentile. My daughter is out of town because of a birth on her husbands side of the family. She had to take my grandson, Donald, to the emergency room last night. It turns out the he is allergic to the penicillin in his medication. They gave her something different and told her to call his doctor on Monday. She lives about 1 1/2 hrs. from me. I am so stressed and have gained a lot of weight in the last month. I am starting today on my diet because I feel like my health has really been affected. I thank you ahead of time for all of your prayers.

Hello utmom... so glad I logged on and saw your message. I am praying for your grandson and for all of you in his family also. Praying that God will provide His healing where needed, and His peace and assurance for all of you!

I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but my son had the same issue with a big head when he was a baby. The Doctor suspected hydrocephalus but it turned out after many tests that Jacob just has a big head. He comes by it honest, lol. My dh and I both have what I like to call "watermelon sized" heads. So, all was well with him and I will pray that all is well with your grandson too. Somebody has to be in the 100th percentile, ya know?
