Question Girly question

Ok I have lost 19lbs since March 15th (this year). I am eating totally healthy since then and I exercise daily. I have also dropped all sugar from my diet. Here is my question.... I am so regular (cylce wise) that I can time it and I am on the money, never late - never early. Not supposed to have my TOM until next Tues - it started today! What the heck? Is this due to the rapid changes I am doing or should I be more concerned?

Yeah, dieting can really whack up your cycle. Give it some time to settle down first. If it doesn't settle down after 3 or 4 months, mention it to your doctor. She'll probably say it's normal and you just have to get used to the unexpected, but it's always better to ask than to not. Just my two bits...

Thanks! I thought it was even odder since I am on the pill (forgot to mention that part) -- but I sorta figured my body was just saying WHOA wait a minute and tossed me a curve ball. LOL

I am having the same problem. I'm in exactly the same boat... I was attributing mine to stress because I have a lot of it right now, but my diet could also be a factor. Good to know! Thanks for starting this thread and announcing your presence in the boat with me. *wink*

No problem (glad but not) that it isn't just me. I was a bit worried.

Mine was crazy too several months ago. So crazy in fact I had all kinds of tests done. I had a biopsy, ultrasound etc.. (they were coming every 1 - 2 weeks, almost constant). Anyway, everything was ok, and now I'm back to clockwork cycles. Not to say you shouldn't see your doctor if you're concerned, but don't worry too much.

Yeah, that's pretty normal. When I first started eating better and exercising, my period came two weeks early! The next month, a week early. Now it's back to being normal.

I have a question for you all (if you don't mind me hijacking your thread for a moment, Robin). Did anyone else notice a lighter period once it all evened out? I normally had 3 days normal, one day light, break day, then another light day and it ended for the month. Now it's two light days followed by 2-4 super-light days (where all I need it a pantyliner). Wondering if it's just me

I wish! Mine are still a bit strange. One month is barely noticable and the next I want to die. Nothing to be done about it though, mine have always been... well strange...

Well I wish I was as lucky as these others ladies. My TOM went from 28-30 days to 21-23 days long. It's been going on since I started my weight loss regimen. It has never gone back. Just FYI. I've slowed down on the exercise a bit and it's gone back up to the 25-26 day range which is a bit better but I wish it would go back to 30 days. Oh well, I'm learning to live with it. I'm sure things are different since you are on the pill though.

Just normal stuff I guess.
