Default The co-worker strikes again.....LOL

Yeah...so do you guys all remember my co-worker that made the comment about "the st. patty's day shirt".and the "it wouldn't even fit ME" comment..? Well..she struck again...it's actually starting to become kind of amusing..lol. Last night...we were talking about what we were going to do when we got home...and i said that I was going to do my ultimate calorie blaster dvd.......she said "oh..I don't need to do anything like that...but..I think flinging hay to the horses is a better workout than that anyways"....LOL.....

Well..I decided to get into the action later...I was looking in the mirror and I was like "I think I'll have to have my scrub top taken in...it's getting way too baggy"...(which it truly is).....anyways...she comes back with "yeah..I should do something with mine too....see how gaping it is?" I was thinking to myself....NOOOOO..I don't see it....cause' seriously.....it was skin tight across her gut....LOL. This girl thinks she is Ms. Fitness USA.....lol...I mean it's great to have high self esteem and all.....but when she does it at the expense of others.....it's just not cool. Anyways..I'm taking it in stride and she is becoming quite comical....LOL...I'm just having fun with it now...LOL>

Hugs,
Liv

Glad that you are having fun with it now. I don't think I could deal with that on a daily basis. I do laugh at my sister though when she starts talking about that stuff to me since well...she weighs 100lbs and umm. that's less that what I need to lose!

Congrats on your loss so far and treat yourself to at least one new scrub top if you can.

well just wait untill shes in her 40's i see it all the time thin peole eat what they want hardly work out and stay relatively slim then they hit a birthday in their late 30's or 40's and bam! they explode outwards and seem all confused by it.

i know a girl who is tubby. she walks round with skin tight tops and trousers on. with the top ridding up so her bit of pink flab can just hang over the top of her trousers. and she thinks shes perfect.

"Oh really? You've done my workout? Well, yeah, I can tell it really didn't work out for you."

You're a much better person than I. I'd have to give a little bit back to her.

Sounds like she has an inferiority complex and the only way she can feel better about herself is to get down on you. People like that are just sad. Keep laughing and stick with what you're doing.. success is the ultimate revenge.

I was thinking that too......always tearing down others to make herself feel better. NOT COOL...

I agree - it's her own inferiority that makes her say comments like that. It's just like people who weigh 100 lbs who are always saying, "oh, I'm so fat," and then expect you to say, "you aren't fat." When that happens, I don't say a word. It's so ridiculous that it doesn't even deserve a response. There is a gal that rides the bus with me to work every day who is real loud and is always telling these other 2 gals who accompany her things like, "I was out at one of the bars last night and I couldn't keep the guys off of me." I just wanted to gag myself. I don't have a lot of time for people who have to constantly be trying to impress somebody and have to be the center of attention. They do that very same thing that your coworker did.
