Unhappy Omron Users... I Need Your Help!!

I got my new Omron HJ-112 pedometer today but am unable to use it because no matter what I try I cannot get the little clear plastic clip to open so I can't clip it on my pants... the case clip is not tight enough to use by itself. The instructions don't say how to do it but just show a little picture with arrows swirling around... big help! I know this sounds dumb... really I am not stupid... <G> but how on EARTH do you get that clip open???

Thanks.

Misti, I had a heck of a time with it, too. It's actually really easy. It's like a barrette or something. The top of the clip "folds over", or "flips over". You sort of snap it.
Let me know if you get it...

I hear ya. I kept trying to pry the "jaws" apart.
Are you committing to a certain number of steps?

Well I do try to get 10,000 per day but don't worry if I don't make it; usually it is more. Right now I am more focused on the Coast to Coast Challenge and just helping us get "home" to Seattle LOL. The more steps I pound out the faster we get here.
