Default Results of my weight loss

I was reading my own website and came across one page I had written a while back about the results of my weight loss. I thought I would share this on this site with all of you. Chances are you will see those same results in yourself. Sometimes, I forget about why I'm on this journey and only think about the frustrations of trying to lose weight. But here's a nice reminder of the results of my lifestyle change and why I continue to live this way today. Enjoy!

weight loss
physically fit
no back pain
no fatigue
no sluggish feelings
no longer a couch potato
tons of energy
feeling attractive
mildly sick or not sick at all
and most important of all: self esteem

I eat well because:

my body needs all the essential nutrients found in healthy foods to stay healthy
my muscles needs protein.
my skin stays clear and fresh
my body doesn't need extra fat on it
I deserve to look and feel good!
Believe it or not, my metabolism needs food regularly to function well!

I exercise regularly because:

I want to keep my body fit and lean.
I am not out of breath!
I can do things now that I couldn't do before changing my life style.
My body needs lean strong muscles to move and do the things it needs to do.
Most important of all: My back doesn't ache anymore!

Thanks for sharing that Francine. I get so frustrated and forget as well. I haven't gotten on the scale in weeks. I can see a difference in my body and can tell by my clothes. I just know if I get on that scale and the numbers aren't where I want them, it'll just send me over.
I'm doing the best I can. I'm making good choices, I'm working out daily with my WATP tapes, I have enough now that I have a good variety of things to do to change it up, and drinking my water. So right now I'm refusing to let a number make or break me!
Again, thanks for sharing and reminding me of what it's really all about.

I completely understand. When the scale goes up, I'll often get disapointed. So if not weighting in works best for you, keep it up. Often, the other ways like our clothes are best. It doesn't measure any fat intake! LOL

It feels wonderful to see our bodies get in shape, so let's keep it up! Losing weight is just one of many end results of our lifestyle changes.

Thanks Francine for the reminders. I need to print and post them where they can remind me more often which helps in staying in check.
