Talking Sunday WI

DOWN 2 1/2 POUNDS!!!!

See being good most of the week works!!!!

We ate out last night and went to a very very funny play. The Summer of 42, excellent. I had a chicken Fahita (spelling?) had only two of the wraps and ate the meat and other things plain. So I think that was pretty good.

Just so happy to see the scales moving down instead of up again.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday.

Hi---I just moved over from the Sonoma diet and as of today I am down 1.2 pounds after going up 3---I lost 7 pounds on Wave 1 of the Sonoma plan and then stalled and then gained--I was on the 3 hour diet last summer and lost 15 which of course I gained back when I fell off due to work schedule and then my 16 year old cat died and I was too sad for awhile to care---but now I am determined to get back on the 3 hour plan--it is such a good plan and the results seem to be steady even when they slow down--I see a lot of support here--ann

Hi
This is my first post on this message board although I've been reading for a couple week's now.

I have been on the 3 Hr Diet since the beginning of the year and have lost pretty consistantly. It has been slow and steady but that's OK - I don't feel like it's a diet as much as a life style and one I can live with.

I look forward to chatting with you.

I have been very curious about the 3 hour diet. One of my questions about it was, do you have to eat exactly every three hours. I work in a school so my lunch is predetermined to be 12:00 so that would not give me a three hour space between a snack and lunch it would give me more like a 1 hour space. Do this matter.

Well, I was a STS today. The good news to that is it is day 1 of TOM, so hopefully next Sunday will bring better news! Eating for the last 3 days has been actually quite good. Water intake has been way up as well, so hopefully it is a new beginning for me!!

Yesterday was Michelle's confirmation. What a beautiful mass it was. She is becoming a lovely young woman. I am so very proud of her. Maybe once I get the pictures downloaded, I'll post one on here. I of course forgot to take one of her with my husband and I! Darn! I hate when I forget to take those photos!!! We went out to dinner with the immediate family last night to celebrate. I had seafood primavera. It was delicous and not too bad on the diet!

Today I made a big breakfast for everyone. I had 1 egg, cheese, bacon on an english muffin. Dinner tonight was steak, mushrooms, baked potato. I also did some laundry today and, the big accomplishment of the day, was cleaning my son's room! It was a TOTAL disaster. Bobby is 8 yrs old and wants a hamster. So we told him he had to get his room cleaned and keep it that way. He really did help a lot - I give the boy credit! he even vacuumed afterward. Now I need to get my hubby to buy a new mattress for him, because he desperately needs one. The one he is sleeping on is so OLD and terribly uncomfortable! I also promised to rearrange the furniture in his room. I am not sure how I will accomplish that, since hubby still can't help, but I am going to try at least! Maybe tomorrow night....

Phyllis- AWESOME JOB! I wish I could use smilies to show you how excited I am for you, but they don't work for me! Keep up the good work sweetie!!

OlympiaA - great job and welcome aboard! Look forward to getting to know you!

Sharonsparkle - glad you decided to post with us! It could get confusing though since we have the same name! hehe! We'll have to figure something out to distinguish ourselves....

Well, thats it for me for tonight. Talk to you all tomorrow!

Hi everyone!

I see a few newcomers.

Anita, you go girl! You've done it. You must be so proud of yourself. I'm sure you can lose an extra 5 pounds if you want to. But do stay around here. Losing weight is only one step of the process. Maintaining for a lifetime is the second step and support is very important to keep maintaining just as well.

I weighted in yesterday at 154 again which is what I weighted in around March 10. But after that, my weight went up AGAIN. Too much binging for a couple of days. But yesterday morning, I was down again at 154, so I'm quite happy. It must have been too much salt intake and a bit of a weight gain.

But I'm happy. Spring is here, and we've got wonderful weather now! Have a nice day everyone!

Happy Monday to All of You!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am excited to join in with all of you. I will sign my posts as Sharonsparkle so that us Sharon's won't be too confusing.

Congratulations to Anita! I hope and pray I will be at goal in one year. The time line is doable if I just keep plugging away at it. I know I can make it when I have good examples like you to remember. Way to go!

Phyllis - I already found the April Challenge and have signed up. I see so much support here that I'm excited and refocused on the WHY I want to lose these pounds.
