Default So many little milestones coming up

Progress report time for me. I had my weigh in today. Two weeks ago, I had lost only 0.2 of a pound. This week I lost 2.6

Summary Information

Timespan 691 Days
Beginning Weight 562.3 lbs.
Target Weight 250 lbs.
Current Weight 272.3 lbs.
Weight Left to Lose 22.3 lbs.
WEIGHT LOST 290.0 lbs.

So coming up:
2.4 pounds to be out of the 270's
10.0 pounds to have lost a total of 300 pounds
12.4 to have less than 10 pounds to go and out of the 260's * faint *
17.4 to have less than 5 to go * double faint *

What I want to do at 250 is to go into maintenance mode for a month or 6 weeks and see what that feels like. I am going to just slowly increase the amount of food I eat by about 100 calories until I stop losing weight.

Because of the large amount of loose skin I have, I will probably talk to a doctor at this point about how much more weight I should lose prior to having the skin removed. I know that I will need to wait 6 months to a year after reaching goal weight to have that done, I just want to get their opinion where I should try to get to. I am going to have about 20 to 30 pounds of skin unfortunately around my abdomen.

Oh well, all in all very happy about the weight loss. My exercise program is really paying huge results as well. My fitness level continues to improve weekly.

I wish everyone the very best.

Charles,

That is awesome. When I first started to feel the loose skin, I got discouraged and although for me I have a long way to go, that is the part I look forward to the least. Although really loose skin is nothing when you know it is just skin and that the fat that used to fill it out is gone.
