In my humble opinion, no more perfect dessert exists than the hot fudge brownie sundae. All at once, it's rich, thick, sweet, sticky, creamy, hot and cold - a chocolate-lover's fantasy!
So when my husband bought and prepared brownie mix with ice cream
and hot fudge, I cursed his very existence! As the brownies cooled on the counter, the fudgey aroma tickled me in places DH has forgotten exist! And with that, I proudly announce that while he savored his brownie sundae, I sat down with a plate of fresh pear and strawberries. Not only was I not coveting his dessert, I haven't so much as considered picking at the leftovers (which are sitting sadly in a ziploc bag in the pantry).
Other than fruit, I haven't indulged in dessert the entire year. In fact, I haven't so much as thought about those brownies - except to make my NSV post!
