for all my canadian friends,

is there tax on weight watcher fees?

i called and was told that the registration fee is 45 bucks and for 10 weeks it's 130 bucks. but i forgot to ask if there's tax on top of that.

i'm on a tight budget and i just want to make sure i have an accurate number.

You know I dont know about Canada but i signed up here in Colorado last week and I dont remember any. So I dont think there is but dont quote me LOL

I live in Alberta and we pay GST on meeting fees. It's $15.00/meeting + tax which equals $16.05 which is what I pay each week (that 5cents is a pain in the butt) and I am pretty sure that I paid tax on the initial fee as well.

I just joined up again here in Ontario and it was $79.00 for 5 weeks. I'm not sure if that included tax, but as far as I know it didn't - so I didn't pay any. Also, think about getting a letter from your doctor to waive the registration fee.
