Talking Improved my mile

Even though I started my diet last month, I didn't start using the treadmill until this month. In the 2-3 wks of using it, I went from walking the mile in 21 mins to 17.5 mins (2 miles in 34.5 mins)

I am absolutely positively proud of myself.

As well you should be! Congratulations!

I'm right behind you, but still have a little bit to go. I'm at 18 point something (about 3.3mph), with occasional jogs of 4.0 (VERY occasional :lol).

Good job Lena

I'm hoping to be up to jogging by the end of next month, but we'll see

Great job Lena and Kelly! It took me awhile to build up to jogging, and now I'm at a point where I can jog 5-6 miles. It's hard to get it going, but once you do, it's a great feeling.

Keep up the good work ladies!

I have just started jogging, I can now walk at 3.5mph for 3 minutes, jog for one minute at 5.0mph and then walk again. I went for 45 minutes yesterday and 3 miles. I aiming for an hour by this time next week, and then will work on increasing my jogging time, and even my speed.

I am really enjoying it. Just make sure if you are jogging/running that you get fitted for proper running shoes. It makes a major difference to your whole running style, and helps prevent injury.
