My pedometer reads 11,047 for today and it's not even 6pm yet!!! Woohooooo!
You have to understand, I just got this pedometer last week. I was going to try doing the whole 10k-per-day thing, but my first few days were rather, shall we say, pathethic. And that's even keeping it strapped on while on the treadmill!
The difference today? In addition to my daily treadmilling, I did a short mallwalk. It was totally spur-of-the-moment. I had run to the mall to pick up one item and when I got there, a little voice whispered to me, "You are not allowed to shop until you've done one lap." Well, um, ok then!
I'm home now and I doubt the number will be going much higher, but let me tell you, I was so shocked and stoked (do people say "stoked" anymore?) to see that number!
