Default Need Advice

Hi All, I'm new to the JC diet and I need some advice. I am an EARLY riser (4:30 a.m.) which means breakfast by 5:30; 8:30 snack; 11:30 lunch; 2:30 snack -- these are fine -- the problem is with dinner. If I follow the schedule, dinner should be 5:30; however, I commute back/forth to work and at 5:30, I am on my way home from work. I don't usually get home until 6 p.m. or later. Also, I jazzercise at night (7 p.m. Mon. & Wed.; 7:30 Tues & Thurs). You are supposed to eat an hour before exercising, and I have to watch what I eat or else I get sick while jazzercising. I suppose I could eat a Lean Cuisine or something before I go to class but it would have to be at 6:20 or so. Do you think it would totally upset the apple cart to eat dinner 45 minutes late??? Also, I am usually starving AFTER class but all I can have is a treat.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
Michelle

I am fairly new to this also so I am anxious to hear what the pro's have to say.
I have a problem with dinner also since I should be eating it at 7 pm but that is the time when I put my daughter to bed then get my son ready..shower, reading..ect..so I eat with my family between 5:30 and 6:00, and hour to an hour and half early.
Lou ...so far I am having a good day..one minute at a time.

Can you spread your day out a little more?

5:30 - breakfast

8:45 - snack

12:00 - lunch

3:15 - snack

6:30 - dinner

You are adding 15 minutes to each meal time that way. Anyone else tried that? I usually do because I can't eat dinner until 6:30 at the earliest.

I can spread everything out up until the 6:30 dinner. Eating at 6:30 on Mo & Wed would only allow me 30 minutes to digest my dinner prior to exercising. I could give it a try.

Swap out your PM snack and your dinner. This will give you only 100 calories before Curves and a nice meal after.

JC mentions that +/- 20 minutes is acceptable. What is important is to eat every three hours - if you have to swap around snack and dinner now and then - or even all the time - I do not see how bad that would be...

I swap breakfast and morning snack every day. I eat a 200 calorie protein bar on the way to the gym and then eat breakfast after my workout.
