Default VERY good OP Day!

I just wanted to share how proud I was of myself yesterday! I went to a conference, I was only on day 3 of Wave 1 - in the morning they had breakfasty snacks including 2different types of breakfast bread (banana, lemon poppy) at lunch they had peach and blackberry (my weakness!!!) cobbler, and in the afternoon they had an entire table filled with every cookie you can imagine! Those cookies looked SO good and I had to walk past them about 5 times! URGH! It was super hard, but I resisted all day!!!! Today I was rewarded, I've dropped 3 pounds already! I know its probably all water weight, but I'm excited nonetheless, it helps me stick to it and have some willpower.
The really funny thing was that the bread and cobbler really didn't look appetizing at all, and thats very abnormal for me. The cookies looked darn good, but when I thought about making myself crave them for the next 3 weeks because I'd eaten one, I resisted. Woo Hooooo!

Well done you!

The lure of the banana bread can be strong!

Default Good job!

I thought I was going to be put to the test earlier this week. After coming off last week feeling a bit discouraged (no loss), I was coming in to work where I was supposed to have a 2-day workshop on Monday & Tuesday. They always provide lots of goodies, muffins, bagels, cookies, etc. for the workshop participants. I was worried my will-power would be put to the test, but luckily we had the snow-storm and the instructor couldn't fly in from D.C., so it was postponed until the end of March. (Saved by the bell!)

But I hope when I find myself in that situation, I'm as strong as you were today. Good job!
