Losing for Life!

Default Finally, people are noticing! My NSV!
It has taken a long time but now that I have lost over 50 pounds people are starting to notice! When I picked my son up at school on Friday another mom came over and said "you are looking great"! I was so pleased that someone finally noticed enough to comment.

Then today another woman I know asked if I had a new outfit on, or had changed my hair or did I get new glasses, she said there is something different about you, what is it? I told her I had lost some weight and she replied that I was looking just fantastic.

It sure feels nice when people start to notice!

That is great! I haven't had any one comment yet, except DH and my mother. I think people outside of your "intimate circle" are more hesitant to mention weight loss.

50 pounds? And they are just starting to notice? What are they blind? Anyway it sure feels good when they finally do start saying something isn't it? I've only had one person notice and that was after losing 20 pounds. Now he is saying that his wife and he are thinking about going on the same diet plan I'm on. Asking questions about it too.

Anyway congratulations. 50 pounds is just GREAT!!! I did that back in 2000, but have since gained part of it back. I'm making the effort now to take it back off.
