Default Back to Reality and Back to Phase 1

Well Chickies, I finally gave up on the fantasy tht my ticker might actually return to the original 10 pounds gone mark. This Tuesday four pounds arrived and they were still there today. I guess I wasn't ready for phase two yet so back to phase one I go and hanging my head. Today was a rough one and I felt hungry all day. I just ate a decent sized portian of my own concoction of chicken/kidney bean/tomato/veggie surprise and I am still hungry. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better and I will get a start on losing those four pounds and be back on target.

P.S. My ticker no longer tells fibs!!!!

Ok - the little red mad guy in your post made me laugh.

Freaky - I'm sorry you are having a rough day! I hope tomorrow will be much better!! You'll have those four pounds gone in no time!!

that stinks but don't make yourself hungry, go have more surprise, it's all good stuff in there.

btw how tall are you? I only ask b/c our numbers are fairly similar

Darlin Freaky... do you not know that scales Lie???
Seriously, your weight will flucuate through the course of a day or week.. My best thoughts are ...Pick a day to weigh your self "officially". Weigh yourself in the morning,naked, after you've eliminated. This will give you your best true weight. Even with that, you may experience a plateau, or a weight gain... if you are so inclined, you could chart your weight over a course of a month.. You will see peaks and dips and steady holds and a rise and fall.. I have found Fitday.com is an invaluable tool to identifying not only the percent of fats/carbs / Sodium and protein I eat, but my caloric intake.. Very Eye opening. If you enter your weight in Fitday each day, a graph is created and you can see how your weight rises and falls, and check your daily meals against it....Finding the right amount of Protein/Carb/ fats; my activity level and caloric intake is helping me to understand my body and what works ...For example, I eat alot of FATS... (no , not pork rinds ) without being aware of it...Remember, with SBD we are suppose to eat 3 healthful meals aday supplemented by 2 snacks in between and a dessert. If you stick with getting 6 eatings in..it should help with your hunger pangs..

Thanks for the pep talk ladies and the god advice. I am going to try to keep my chin up today.

Schatzi - I will try that fit day. I know I shouldn't let that scale get me discouraged. But four pounds on me is a clothing size and that just gets depressing. I will try harder and I will not give up. Thanks.

BatMom - I have noticed that our stats our similar. I am 5' 3". I am always hungry, even when I eat a lot of food. I always seem to be hungry before others. Food is one of my many obsessions. So when I am dieting every thought is about food still, but I can't have it - lol. You have really done well since you started. Great job.
