Wink Weds. - Jan. 25

Well, now that the hospital drama is over with the dh and he is well hopefully I can get back OP.

I am up 2 lbs this a.m. and I am really hoping that is mostly water. I have hardly had any water so I will be drinking lots and lots for the next few days and hopefully getting back to exercise today.

I must also confess that we went to Cracker Barrel last night and I had chicken and dumplins............and enjoyed every bite.....needed some comfort food I guess.

Promise to be OP now.

Off to catch up on the posts.....your all have been busy

Phyllis

Phyllis - I am so happy everything is okay with DH! What a relief for you (and him!! ) I don't blame you at all for the comfort food last night, but get right back OP today!!

I am happy to report I hit the 100 oz water mark yesterday! And I am at 50 oz already today and it is only 11 am! WooHoo! And the scale treatted me nicely this AM saying I am down .5 lb, so I am motivated to keep up my good behavior.

This morning I was waiting for Robert to wake up and watching TV. I am happy to say I got my 5 lb dumbbells out and did some arm exercises!! I didn't push it too much, but I definitely felt it. At least it is a start. I will hit the treadmill today for 30 min and then do some more arm weights tonight for 15 min or so while TV watching. I really need to do more than cardio to get this sorry body back into shape!!

Allright, lots of work to do, so I better get to it! Have a wonderful, OP Wednesday!

TTFN- Sharon

Phyllis-

Glad to hear your dh is doing better. Hopefully things will smooth out for you now.

Laurie-

Life as a single mom is GREAT!!! I have received some emails from him, but he seems to be really busy. I have been doing some cleaning that I have wanted to get to. When that is done, I will take up my paintbrush! Really, having him gone is like a huge weight taken off. I am so relaxed, and feeling GOOD.

Laurie - what are you thinking leaving us with that kind of cliff hanger?!?! LOL... I must know - and the gain - Phyllis too - that likely is water... You ca get caught up... start drinking ladies, LOL...

Today I am out of my mind busy with work and I am weary - not the same as tired - just weary. I need this week to be behind me because it is kickin' my behind in a BIG way!

Have a great day Gals! Choose healthy!

Marcie,

Do you prefer your husband to be out of town? That is what I am gathering from your posts...

Yes, Laurie -- start talking or we'll have Donna get out the whip and she knows how to use it!!!

I had a weird day today - we had some layoffs at work so people were kind of freaked out all day long. It's the first time we've ever done this, but the housing industry is down right now and volumes are off.

So will someone please explain to me if I'm supposed to eat 1740 calories in a day why I can't have them all in chocolate????? (just kidding) It's PMS time!

Susan--

TOM about killed me this time around. The is the first time that I had to sit on my hands to keep from going down. I actually drank more water than usual and I did have SF chocolate pudding when I would have a BAD craving. Hope that helps. I know how it is....it is ****!
