Default Another reason NOT to cheat by eating out.............

OK so I have turned down all invites from mom this week to eat out, I was proud of myself but I thought she asked me again today so I went. Yep we went and we went and ate mexican.................I love this mexican soup they have, its got some chicken, rice, oinons, pepers, avacado and other stuff like that in it. Its not too bad since they dont' put a signicant amount of anything in it the only over powering ingredient in it was the salt. They always salt up their food really good. So anyways I thought ok, this soup won't hurt me I have an entire week to push the water and get the salt out, right?!?!? RIGHT! So I order it and ate a few bites, not sure what they did to it but it didn't taste like it had any salt at all in it, so great...........maybe for there older and fluffier customers they cut back on on the salt.............well I was enjoying my first two bites of it and then look down and low and behold what did I see..........................a big black hair floating around in my soup!!! OMG! I about threw up!! So my point being, don't eat out, don't cheat by going to restaurants cause you never know what you will see floating around in your food!!!

Don't I wish a hair in my soup was enough to gross me out... needs to be a small animal or a finger if you want me to gag, LOL

Daisy, imagine that the hair came from a little furry hamster or a mouse -- floating belly up in that soup.

Sorry, I couldn't resist -- you guys are making me laugh too hard and the people around me are wondering if I've lost my mind again!

Yum Yum.

Actually I have a true story for that. Years ago when I lived at home, my Mom was having a real problem with eating pizza and gaining weight. We lived on a farm and had a barn and sometimes had rats in the barn going after the animal feed. Mom took a pizza, put a dead rat on it my brother found, took pictures and hung them on the fridge -- cured her need for pizza in a hurry!

I rarely eat meat now...it pretty much makes me nauseaus to think about eating the muscles of an animal... I will eat boneless poultry every now and then reluctantly because it is just difficult to get a meatless choice with protein -

But I digress - I guess I interpretted a big black hair as long black hair meaning a person's... which is gross and I wouldn't eat the soup but I sure wouldn't have a problem with eating after that... LOL... Damn little makes me that nauseaus! Hence - my need to lose weight.
