Default After Christmas to New Year thread...

I thought I would start next weeks thread ( oh this weeks thread) I called my newspaper company and guess what I WAS suppossed to get my paper yesterday! Whats up with that! They are delivering one now. So I am going to get ready for shopping and hopefully have it here before I get out of the house and if there are not good enough deals then I will stay home take down my tree, clean up Christmas, and do laundry. Then go in to work tonight. And maybeJohn will want to work out before work and I can Get right back on the band wagon.

Hey Greta is back!!!! I saw a post from her on a different thread. So that is exciting! And all the newbies welcome and get ready for a wonderful NEW YEAR with us!

Default Hi there...

Good morning Ladies...

I am new here and have decided to try the 3-hour diet. It makes logical sense, keeps your blood sugar steady - my Aunt lost 6 pounds in almost three weeks...

SO I am hoping to get to know you all better - Dh is buying the book for me on my way home - hope to start officially tomorrow... but for today I am going to do a loose version of the plan...

Thanks for having me!

Have a great day!

Welcome Daisy to our group.....make yourself at home here.

I believe that Dani is going to start a weight loss challenge the first of the year so get ready.....the challenges really help with motivation.

Start drinking a lot of water, at least 8 (and more) glasses a day. I need to get back up to that amount again been slacking there.

We have a good time here......great women.

TY for the welcome Phyllis! I am usually pretty good about drinking water - at one point I drank about 100 oz a day - but now I am closer 50-60oz... shouldn't be too much of a curve for me to get to 64oz.

Thanks again! Can't wait to get to know you all!

Welcome, Daisy! This plan makes a lot of sense. It really is pretty flexible too. It really teaches you the right way to eat and the right portions to eat. I look forward to getting to know you better!

Thanks! I have traditionally been a slow loser - I would like to be just average here - if I could lose 2 lbs a week that would be better than winning the lottery! So we shall see... I have the book now and am reviewing and preparing and hopefully I shall be on the right track by Sunday...

I don't know about the rest of you but I am SO READY to start and be faithful to the diet!!! I am starting to feel the extra few lbs. I've put on, and I really have tried to do well.

Couldn't be all those cookies and eggnog could it

I am finally off work today but have to have a mammogram so I can't do the exercise place this a.m. and then they close from 1 to 4!! I will get there probably tomorrow a.m.

I am going to stick to the JC diet the best I can with my white flour replacements since my body should be adjusted by now so the changes will not be that great, mainly white bread and white rice....shouldn't be that drastic, I don't eat much rice and my bread is diet.

Stocking the house this week with the right foods....all junk food will be out of here.....getting ready to shed those pounds. Being prepared is half the battle and we will WIN.

Welcome Daisy! I am new too. I think if we all work together, this will work. I also have a goal for my anniversary. I want to lose 30 lbs by June 1st, 2006. My husband and I will be celebrating our 5 yr anniversary and I want it to be special.
