Hiya everyone! I'm new here (though I have been lurking for a while) and I'd really love to have a buddy. As you can see by my signature I have a lot to go! A bit about me... I'm very into music (specifically modern rock and alternative but I'm pretty much into anything) and I love going to concerts and playing my drums or guitar. Hi there! This is also new to me. I'm trying to get my weight down just to feel better about me. I've become kind of self centered over the past year which is a good thing. Finally putting me first. I'm married, between us we have 5 kids, ages 23 -10. All boys but 1. This summer I decided to go back to school as it was time to start looking at a career change. Now, I'm studying to become a surgical tech of all things! I still have a year plus to go.

It was actually a blessing that I went back to school when I did, as I was just layed-off 12-2-05! after 9 years on the job.

So here I am, and trying to stick to it all. I appreciate the support!

I am in Ontario, Canada and dont get out much in the winter...hate the cold and snow and not rich enough to be able to travel to warm destinations. I am very interested in digital scrapbooking, have three girls, I love to read and write and many other creative things.

Hi all, my name is Betsy and I'm feeling a little shy about asking someone to be my buddy. ("Will you be my friend?" just sounds so 3rd grade!) I'm new here and gearing up for starting my plan next week.

I'm a 37yo mom to two Ds who say I'm cool. I love music (alternative is my favorite), but I can't sing or play any instruments (although my H and I have talked about getting a drum set, since I've always wanted to give it a go).

I have about 25 pounds to lose and 20 years of being a couch potato to overcome. I enjoy water skiing, reading, and pretty much anything creative and artsy. I lean pretty far to the left when it comes to politics. If I had the money, I'd spend my life on horseback. I've spent the last year looking inward and getting to know myself. I'm a recovering codependent and while I haven't officially worked the 12 steps myself, I think they're fabulous.

My plan for January is to start with the 90/10 weight loss plan and train my brain into thinking exercise is fun and good. I have not worn a bikini since I was about 6, and I'd like to wear one again before I die, so I need to get crackin'. I'm hoping that 2006 is my year.

Hello Bee, I know what you mean by asking "Will you be my friend" LOL I too am new here and don't know what to do. I do know that I want to lose weight this year and keep it off forever. Hello everyone! Well...needing to lose 35 pounds here. I'm a firefighter and need to lose for the sake of my job. Putting on 75 pounds of fire gear and SCBA get to be tough on a body that is already overweight. So.....I need a buddy to be accountable to......anyone interested?....
