Default Thanks Be Given!

Okay, tomorrow is officially Thanksgiving, but I figure most of us will not be at the computer. So, does anyone want to tell what they are thankful for this year? Be funny, get mushy, let’s share!

(BTW – I know this is just a US holiday, but all our friends (North, South, East, & West) can give thank too!)

Tops on my list:
1) Wonderful DH that has supported me through many WW recipe experiments; married me at 220# and still squeezes me today!
2) My family and church family that has supported me, and I know I can always call on.
3) Pumpkin pie has about 1/6 of the calories as pecan, so I can feel good eating it!
4) Support and advice from friends at 3FC!
5) McDonald’s cappuccino that makes it possible to face each morning.

Thankful for:

1) My beautiful daughter, who amazes me every day
2) My wonderful husband, who is truly my soul mate
3) My sister, who has always been a mother, sister, and best friend to me
4) My family as a whole, who are crazy and unconventional and insane in the best ways
5) My financial situation--DH got a better job and now we live a little better and have way less stress (we are lower-middle class, but we live within our means)
6) 3FC Message Boards
7) Being able to be a stay-at-home mom
8) The fact that life can be as good as you want it to be or perceive it to be

OK, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but that's no excuse not to be thankful for a few things...

1, Thankful for my beautiful family - they make the bad days good.

2, Thankful for my beautiful friends - they keep me getting up in the morning.

3, Thankful to my beautiful friends here on 3fc, for keeping me on the straight and narrow and not letting me fall too far off the foodplan wagon.

4, Thankful to WW for thinking of a programme that really does encourage you to lose weight healthily and for life

5, Thankful that both DH and I have good jobs that keep on paying the bills - just!

6, Thankful that we live in a part of the world that generally doesn't get rocked by earthquakes and hurricanes.

7, Thankful for Sveltesse Red berry and chocolate cereal bars at only 1.5pts each - they see me through the tough days!

8, And just Thankful to be alive.
