Default Welcome Home Wednesday

Hello,
I just got back from the conference. I've got some unpacking to do and then I'm taking my SIL to her last chemo treatment.

I did well with my food at the conference. I haven't gotton a workout in this week so I made sure that I really cut back on my calories; no snacking allowed. I did have a piece of pumpkin pie yesterday but that's it for the sweets.

I enjoyed my evenings at the conference as we were on our own. I read my magazines and went to a movie with one of my friends last night. We saw "Derailed"...it's very good...a lot of unexpected turns.

I also was able to write in my journal and just relax. I really needed it.

I don't know if I told you but my current employer offered me a new position within the company (I've not heard anything from the other job interview that I went to). My new position is West Coast Inside Sales Rep. I'm looking forward to it and it's going to be so nice to not have to argue with the Homeowner anymore. I start my training on the new position tomorrow.

I need to get off the computer and get things put away. I also have the TOPS program tomorrow night so I need to get that wrapped up.

How's everyone else doing?

Susie

Glad that you managed to stay OP while away! Prayers go out to your SIL

It seems like you've made your mind up about the job situation; are you going to call the other place that you interviewed with and let them know you've decided against taking any offers?

I have been so consistent with my eating and exercise and yet it looks like I may have my first "Turtle" or gain this week, due to water weight. I am dealing with that

I do a "program" today on the Food Pyramid Guide, now called "My Pyramid" and I am also going to discuss general healthy eating tips, bringing in an article that I wrote for the magazine and sharing it. It's hard for me to let myself down and not show a loss this week but I am going in, head held high!

Susie- Glad to see you are back Sounds like you did just awsome on your eating, and I hope the new position at work turns out to be very fruitful for you

yogini- Hang in there sis, You will have a great program and that water weight(and mine) will be gone before we know it Trust me...I can gain up to 5 pounds in just water evrey month and it is very discouraging at times, but knowing it will be gone in a few days...and usually more makes it a little easier to deal with
