Signs from my DS that I have been going to the gym more often - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

1. Looking at the class schedule on the computer, my 3 year old recognizes the gym logo and says, "I want to go to the gym."

2. Driving by the gym on the way to daycare, DS says, "There is mommy's gym"

3. When we walk in to kid care they say, "Hello, Brennan" to my son.

I think that's great that your son comments on that. Maybe you can use it as added encouragement because after all you are setting an example for how he will be when he's an adult.

That's so cool! Sounds like you're really putting emphasis on gym in your every day life. It's good that the baby sees and recognizes that, so that he will understand the importance of being healthy when he needs to be responsible for himself one day.

kyemom- Thanks!

ambabs- I think that is added encouragement for me. I love that he enjoys it when he goes. I have used him in the past for not working out (scared to leave him in the kidcare and he had seperation anxiety issues). But, now that he likes to go and I am comfortable with the staff I have no excuses!

I have also thought that it is setting a good example for him. I am tired of being his fat mommy. I am very active with him now, but if I don't get in shape he will be hard to keep up with.
