Default Keeping myself motivated

Hi everyone!

First off let me say hello and introduce myself. I am new here. I have lost 40 pounds since August 2004. I started at 175 and am now 135. I am 5'1. My goal is 130, but moreso my goal is just to stay active!

I REALLY started working out in January. Well, for the past month I have been fairly stationary. Every day I tell myself today I will do it and I don't. I used to feel guilty for not working out, now I could really care less. I still eat great, and have even lost a pound or two. Just can't seem to work out. Makes no sense to me as when I was working out - I LOVED IT! And I told everyone how much I did.

I started a class and am almost done and pretty much I stopped when I started this class. It is a computer class. Well now I know it is no excuse and I don't know even how I would have quit because of the class - maybe subconsciously?

Any ideas how to get myself GOING?

Thanks!

Don't overanalyze it...just go out and walk down the street and back for 10 minutes. Then tomorrow, do it again. Do 10 minutes every day for a week. If you feel like it, make it 15, but only commit to 10. Doesn't sound like much, but it's more than you're doing now and it will get the fluid moving in your joints.

That's a really good idea. I never thought of that. I could even do 10 min tomorrow morning and 10 when I get home. I have my weights right next to me in the morning - Thanks!
