I ate a cup and a quarter of shredded wheat and bran cold cereal with a cup of skim every day for breakfast the whole summer. I was at a plateau basically for all of July, August and part of September. I went back to oatmeal for breakfast last week and lost 3 pounds. I'm not sure what to think, but I think the shredded wheat doesn't metabolize great for me.

No I dont eat Kashi , is there one that is core?? I eat oatmeal most mornings cuz I find it fills me up till lunch. I tried shredded wheat last week thinking of a change but it was hard to get down....like eating straw. Andrea I dont have trouble *going* at the best of times so not going to touch the bran...haha (TMI SORRY)

Vickie, I really like the Shredded Wheat and Bran too. Yum! It's too expensive for me to buy every week though.

Jewel/Albertson's has it on sale this week 4 boxes for $10.00. I have 4 boxes on my shelf right now. Since I'm only eating it once in a while now, I'm not buying any more.

Kashi puffed cereal is core. I sometimes sneak in Heart to Heart, even though it isn't core. My DH eats that like it's going out of style.
