Default Jello - Calories in fitday.com

Hi everyone. I have been trying to get my jello into fitday.com but it has not allowed me to yet! It said the calories, fat, carbs, and protiens I put in were not correct.

The SF/FF jello box I had said:
Calories: 10
Fat: 0
Carbs: 0
Protien: 1

I can't get this to go into fitday so I can calculate it into my day. What should I do? How would I get this to let me get it in there?

TIA!

Tracy,

I had the same deal with the same Jello...well, not the EXACT one, lol ...anyway, it's a formula that all the carbs, etc work out the calories and fitday says it should be 4 calories instead of 10.

You can just go with what fitday says OR you could add the Jello and then once it's on your food list you can enter 2.5 servings to make the cals 10. I know that may mess with your carbs, etc but it's not really what your counting.

Edit: I mean you're not counting anything but the calories...at least not like you are the calories.

i've had that problem too, sometimes the nutritional info just doesn't add up. since i'm most concerned with calories, i usually just adjust the fat, protein or carbs so that the calories work out right. you could make protein 2.5. or you could make carbs 1.25 and protein 1.25. either will work out to 10 calories and pass the fitday test. you'll just have to live with your proteins and/or carbs not being exact. but at least they won't be too far off.

Thanks guys!!! I will go and mess with it and see what it will do. It is weird that some things just won't go in there! I wish they would make some of it easier lol.

Yep.... calories is all that really matters right now. I do try and make the pie chart even with carbs, protiens, and fats... but that is hard to do sometimes lol. Until I fully understand fitday I am just worried about calories lol.

Aphil,

I put it in as "Jello Strawberry SF/FF" into fit day. Until I change the numbers like someone said on here it wouldn't take it for some reason. It was being stubborn! Lol.
