Smile Sunday Weigh-In

Well, after a very busy weekend and lots of eating off plan, I got on the scale this morning and I lost another pound. I am down to 168 - it seems like it is taking forever to get this weight off. Most days I do really well - I think the JC program is ingrained in me and I am pretty much eating the way I am supposed to. I haven't had a period in over a month so I guess chemo is taking care of TOM!!!

Not much exciting to report - just working daily, come home make dinner and go to bed. By the time the day is done I am to tired to post. So I apologize for not getting on here as much as I would like to.

I hope everyone has a great weigh in today or tomorrow, whichever day you choose -- may the scales be good to you

Talking

Hit Terri, I am sticking to the Sunday WI.....and moving very slow also.

Down 1 lb. (that seems to be my speed) so one more and I will be in the 180's for the first time in a long time.....making progress just wish it would speed up a bit. BUT I will take my lb.

Sounds like you are doing pretty well and I'm very glad. My sister was just here for a visit and she says she still gets tired but she is taking the chemo pill, still has 3 yrs. to take it. So maybe in the long run it's better to do the chemo and get it over with and move on....I hope so for your sake. But I will tell you she is now a much stronger woman and enjoys her life so much, I am very proud of her and you too!!!

My plans for the week are to start exercising on the treadmill again and do longer walks each night until I finally make my mile mark. It is finally cool enough to go out in the evenings again. No more excuses for me

Everyone have a great OP week, Phyllis

Way to go you two for that 1 lb gone! Teri~Stay strong! You have an amazing attitude! Phyllis~I'm glad you are feeling better! I LOVE early fall evening walks! I'll join ya!

I forgot to WI this morning, so I will tomorrow but TOM is here so I expect I'll stay the same. But I learned if I am going to WI on MOnday then I am more concious about staying OP on SUnday - whick is usually the day I get slack. HMMM! May have to change my WI to Mondays if it keeps me on track for the weekend. I spent most the day in my garden yesterday pruning back my tomatoes. There are TONS of them and none are turning yet so I cut back alot of green to let the sun in. Hopefully next week I'll be canning salsa and tomatoes. YUMM! My legs are SO sore from squatting all day! A good workout gardening is!

Did my 5 days of cardio this week! YAY! Missed Friday cause I had a hot date with my hubby and got home late so I did 40 minutes on the elliptical Saturday morning. (should have done 5 hrs cause I made a pig of myself at dinner! - but that hot fudge brownie sunday was so good!!! )

I started this full detox last week. The first 3 days were a digestive stimulater and today I start the liver, gallbladder and parasite cleanser - it lasts 7 days. I am kinda excited because I was reading a book at the store that said anybody who is overweight has a plugged liver. HMM! We'll see. If nothing else I'll be cleaner!

Anyway, off I went so I'll hush! Have a wonderful day all!

Hi y'all....

I released 8 lbs this week, which is the seven I gained last week, plus an additional pound. From where I started, I have shed 7 lbs.

I am headed into my fourth week of the program, and I am feeling more confident than ever. I have figured it out...this is definitely a LIFESTYLE, not a DIET. I am doing things now that are becoming habit--drinking 120 oz water a day, using the Cruise down plate, and journaling. It is making a difference!

Teri: Hang in there...I know from a friend having chemo that it does hurt the weight loss. But if you stay with it, it will happen! It has no choice but to go!

Phyllis: Congrats on your 1 lb!

Donna: Did ya HAVE to mention hot brownie sundae?????

Well I WI today and I am down a pound! YIPPEE! I was afraid what would happen. And I was down at least the steady 1 pound I have been losing. Which is good, I have a relaxing day today, my DH just got the day off so maybe we will spend some time together. That will be fun. But yeah one pound down. Oh did I already say that?

Sorry I wasnt on all weekend - been so busy!

Jeanette way to go....that is a lot!!!! Where you holding water?? Make sure you are eating enough OK. Glad you are so positive....

Donna I think a lot of members are weighing in on Mondays sometimes....depending on what they did on the weekend. For me Sunday WI keeps me from eating everything in the house on Saturday! lol

Phyllis I am like that too. Sunday keeps me in check better, but with TOM I wanted to wait that one day. I think it depends I guess.

Yep, I'm eating five times a day, 400 calories at a time. Once I get below 300, it will only be 300 cal snacks. I know that not eating enough is a sure way to stall things!

Hi everyone,

I WI today but I will give myself a break. I have been totally off plan all weekend since we have visitors and we have been eating out a lot. I am up 2 pounds but I am back OP and feel very confident I will lose them quickly.

Also, on Friday I leave for 4 days to Boston to visit family. It will be an eating fest! LOL. I will try to eat small portions and not gain too much. At these types of things it is all about not gaining and maintaining.
