Cool There must be a trick

Hi

I got the Yourself Fitness PS2 personal trainer, and the first thing it asks for is your pulse. I have been trying for a few hours every day to take my pulse and cant do it, and I am getting so fustrated that by the time I find it my pulse will be so fast and it wont be accurate anyway . Is there some kind of trick to it, please say there is If not I just either cant do it, or maybe I really am a vampire, I do stay up all night

Please Help

Thanks

Chrissy

If you can't find it in your wrist, try it in your neck. Just take one or two fingers and place them on one side of your neck. Where your neck meets your collar bone. If you can't find it, let us know. We may have bigger problems than weight loss here. Seriously though, if you can't find it those machines that take your blood pressure at grocery stores/walmart usually display a pulse next to the bp. You could try that. Good luck.

Higher on your neck, dig in two fingers between your 'swallower' and that tendon beside it. Almost under your chin.

or ... make a fist so that you can look at the veins and tendons in your wrist. Look at the right one. There's a good sturdy tendon down the middle (running up your arm) if you touch carefully, you can find another one toward the outside (righter). Between it and the pointy bone on the very outside of your wrist (base of your thumb)you'll be able to find a pulse. Don't press too hard because you can stop it and then you'll feel nothing.
