Default Happy Hump Day Y'all!

I wanted to share my non-scale victory (NSV) with y'all....

My boyfriend took me to eat at Carraba's Italian Grill last night. I had one slice of bread with the olive oil and herbs for dipping, then an Italian salad with olive oil and vinegar. The main course was Chicken Marsala with a side of pasta. I immediately asked for a take out box and halved my meal! I'll have the other part for lunch today.

Have a great OP day!

What a good idea to ask for a take out box at the begining of the meal. I never thought of that. Awesome choices! I will incorporate that one too. TY for sharing.

Thanks! I read it somewhere (could have been Jorge's book!) that if you portion it at the beginning and put it away, you won't be tempted, and it worked!

Thumbs up

Hi everyone!

I am quite happy today because I finally went down those stubborn 2 pounds! I knew it was just a matter of time. I now weigh 142!!!! YEAH!!!! So, my goal for Sunday is to get down to at least 141 (but preferably 140)!

I haven't been exercising this week. I have just been soooo busy. I will start this afternoon with some cardio.

How is everyone else? Please check in!

WAY TO GO Anita and Jeanette!
I went out last night with a girlfriend and . . . well......hmmmmm. Had 1/2 of a cheeseburger, carrot cake, lots of coffee w/ cream and sugarand a few fries. I still got a NSV out of it tho. I made the consious decision to eat it and enjoyed it. And no guilt. For the first time ever I didn't beat on myself for "screwing up". And yes it was worth it! That carrot cake was to die for! So today has been an OP day for the most part. A little off with the timing but I feel really good - energetic - considering I only got 4 hrs of sleep. And I'm getting in my water and I'll do more cardio tonight - did 5 minutes on the elliptical this morning to get my rear moving! I wonder if I did crunches in bed before I got up if that would get me going to do my cardio in the morning? Probably not! I am NOT a morning person.
Anyway, hope everyone is just busy with an OP day and that's why you're not posting. Have a good one!

You chicks rock! That it awesome Anita, Jen and Donna. Donna I am like you, sometimes it feels good to "live" and be normal. I think thats what makes us stick to our "diets" because we live "normal" at times. But 90% make all healthy living choices so the 10% we must live it up a little. Sounds yummy.

anita I have been slowing down on cardio too this week, still lost a pound though. I am hoping to get cardio in today. I didnt yesterday.
