We had a good weekend, and good to see you both for a pop in. Family came and WENT, did a lot of walking and we are all ready for the kids to start school tomorrow and our puppy to come home on Thursday.

Lots of excitement and so hard to believe how much she has changed over the weeks...

Kids are going to the eye dr today and i would like to see if I can get them in for a haircut in the next few days before school pictures...

Anyway, to all

What an adorable picture L!!! Puppies are so cute, she looks like a Dixie too

Back to eating properly today. We got word that 1st stepson is out of icu, and should be heading home to sweden by the end of the week, 2nd ss, left today for 3 days training, granddaughter is out of the hospital, and my dd made her flight without any incident. Life is getting back to normal. If you want to call it that

Ive been doing some reading on another weightloss, weight training program. Basically I know I have to eat less and move more, but Im hoping this one will get me better motivated. I'll keep you posted to how it goes.

Have a good week everyone

Thumbs up

I did GREAT over the weekend. I gained in August so as of September 1 I am doing Atkins pretty strictly. I need to lose the water weight I gained. I'll be happy if at the end of September I'm back to where I was the end of July.

Hey all!! Hope you had a good weekend. Just wanted to pop in and say hi, I'm not feeling 100% so I won't be dong much the rest of the week. I'm hoping by Friday I will be able to sit at the computer (or any place for that matter) without running to the bathroom every couple minutes. Talk to you all later and good luck with your goals!!

I did good yesterday, got on the scale this morning, and I lost 6 lbs of water!!! Can we say water retention!!!! Just in one day!!! I still find it amazing how much water we hold.

Things are good here, have a great day everyone

Well, the pig-fest is over as are birthdays. Time to get serious and get this weight off so I can look "stunning" for Christmas!!! I've not and WILL NOT step on that scale until this weekend. I'm afraid to find out! If the fit of my jeans is any indication I've got a lot more to lose than I even want to know!!! Forgot DH was on 3rd shift this week so next week I'm hoping to get the water intake where it needs to be and the exercise started. Wish me luck and kick me in the butt ladies because I need some motivation here!! I'll be back in the morning to return to my routine of "checking in".
Night all!!

Morning

Things are going good, me eating is right on, my water is good, I'll start my exercise soon. I started walking last night with dh, I'll dust off the weights (again) and have them ready for monday.

Ive cooked up a batch of soup, and have the white beans cooking as I type, 3lbs of meatballs made and froze....things are getting back to normal.

Have a great day everyone

Robin: Glad things are getting back to normal with you also.

Well, yesterday was an ok day. Stress and sinus headache threatened to take over again (3rd day in a row). I'm hoping the stress (Girl Scout troop for oldest) part will go away soon!! Eating went well though. Hard to eat when you're sick to your stomach. Have to work on the water. Next week (hopefully) things will get back to normal and I can get both the water and exercise in!!!! Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Morning Brenda, I hope your feeling better soon. Stress, and not feeling well to begin with wrecks havoc!! Got lots of rest.

Ive been cooking alot the last couple days, and Im about ready to start a regimented exercise program. I have it pretty much worked out...I'll take the weekend off, and get off to a flying start on monday.

Did you all hear how much natural gas prices are suppose to go up this winter??!?!?!?!?!? I think I better invest in some heavy sweaters and turtlenecks before the prices of those go up too!!!!!!

Enjoy your day

Robin: Sounds like you've got a great plan in place for getting exercise and stuff in. WAY TO GO!!

Well, today the heat/humidity has hit again. It's almost to the point we need to turn the air conditioner back on. I've gotten a little bit (but not a whole lot) of water in so it's a good start I haven't stepped on the scale yet. Yup, I'm chicken!! I'm slowly working on the stress and think (for now) I've got a handle on it.

Wow, it didnt get that hot here today, but it was very pleasant.

Im going to get back on the scale on Monday, and see what eating properly did for me this past week. Brenda, get on it soon, I always find it so discouraging when I know Ive gained weight, then been good for a week, and Im not down as far as I thought. Soooooooo, either get on it, or put it away for 2 weeks!!

Its quiet around here, Im going to try to talk dh into going for a walk with me tonight again....he said he may just stay home and bounce on the trampoliney thing we have.

Have a good one!
