Hello all,

I got lost! ...but I found you! You can run but you can NOT hide! LOL

Elaine, I was sorry to read that you lost someone you cared about! I totally understand why you decided not to go to the services. I hope that you have been able to fight the emotional pulls towards "things" that are not on your list of goals! It is so hard to deal with the "regular junk"...and then just as you are getting your feet firmly on the ground, you get something huge that sort of takes the wind out of your sails. (((supportive hugs))) Congratulations on the 4 pound loss!

Erin, How did your WI go? Your baby is soo cute! How old is she? My babies are 10 and 13! Yikes! LOL

Andreaphilip, Congratuations for your 11 weeks! This morning I purchased 10 more weeks... so now I CANT quit, FOR SURE!

gotta run!

take care,
Robyn

Hey Mermaid - It's great to see you!!! I didn't get to go to my meeting on THursday, so I'll just have to wait a week. It's killing me, though! LOL! I truly need that weekly encouragement.

Oh well. My baby is 17 months old - I also have a 10 and 8 year old! So, I can relate to the "babies" that aren't really "babies" :c)

You sound like you're doing great! It's good to be OP and enjoying it!!!

Hi again!

Thanks for the note of support and encouragement! I am finding that the WW meetings are making a big difference in my motivation and success! ...which surprises me! I tell everyone that I've still got my baby weight! THEN they realize that my baby is 10...and then I go further and tell them that I never weighed THIS much with either of my pregnancies.... I guess my honesty is a good thing!

It was my wonderful yet totally consuming trip down motherhood lane that "grew" these fat rolls! I loved LOVED LOOOOVED my babies ...so much so that I sorta forgot to love myself! I have a dear friend who has become overcome with motherhood and her precious daughters.... We are working together to help prevent her "growth spurt"! LOL We attend WW together.... and teach together.... and we will be successful...together!

Enjoy those baby days.... they go so quickly!
take care,
Robyn

Robyn, you're so right! It's so easy to lose yourself in the midst of motherhood.
My weight got this bad, because of the same thing, yet sorta different. LOL.

I used to work full time, and go to school full time, and when I became pregnant, we made the decision that I would stay home with the baby (I stayed home with my older two, as well) - well, I LOVED my job.
I really felt as though I lost a piece of myself when I started staying home. I didn't realize it at first, because I LOVE the baby, and I was overwhelmed with the newborn.
Now that she's older, I realize that I've eaten my way through my "boredom".

I have no reason to be 'bored', either. I have plenty to do - I just wasn't doing it.
My weight loss is truly uncovering a whole new me - just not the way I thougth it would!
