Default New Too - Rosemary Conley (Low Fat) dieter

Hello there

I've been dieting for a month now and lost half a stone. I have about one and a half stone to go. I'm following Rosemary Conley's 'New Body Plan' and also using recipes from her other low-fat cook-books. I've used Paul McKenna's book and CD *I Can Make You Thin* to motivate me to exercise (it works!)

I have PCOS so my weight loss is upto 4 times slower than women without PCOS.

Looking forward to meeting you all, here!

Hi
I've been on Rosemary Conley (twice) it really does work but I was hungry all the time.
I went to her slimming club as well, which was the only time I've ever done any exercise, it worth finding out if they have one in your area.
Good luck.
Carole

Thanks for the welcome!

The Rosemary diet I'm doing is an old one, 'The New Body Plan' which I chose because you can have a snack between meals, morning afternoon and supper, so I'm not feeling hungry. Until having 2 babies in 2 years wrecked my figure, I had only dieted once before - after my third child was born - following *The Hip & Thigh* which was very successful (Lost 3 stone - most of it in first 4 months), so I knew Rosemary's diets work. Last year I had a foray into low carbing with the South Beach but it failed entirely - a disaster in fact I ended up fatter. So I thought I'd return to what I know works!

Although I've only lost half a stone in 4 weeks I've also lost nearly 4" off my bust, and 3" off waist, hips and thighs so I'm really motivated, now i can see some results! Have also gone down nearly 2 dress sizes in just the first 4 weeks so that's really encouraging, even if I'm still well 'overweight', I know the diet's working!

But no, I don't feel hungry - and if I do... I eat something! So long as I keep track of the calories, it's OK. (Rosemary allows you a drinky-poo each day and if I don't fancy a glass of wine - I eat that no' of calories instead... sneaky, eh?)

Love, Phat xxx

Apparently if I'm still very fat next year I may be able to go to Rosemary Conley free on prescription for however long they (the health authority people) decide people need it. Or so I read in the local paper anyway.

Oh and welcome PP!

Hi

I done RC diet years ago, i really enjoyed the work out at the class. But the diet didnt suit me and i only lost 1lb a week. Once im at target i will be going on to Rosemary Conely after i have done the Cambridge stablisation and maintenace.

Also while i was shopping in asda the other day i noticed some new chocolate mousses made by rosemary conely, dont know if you have tried them but they look really nice.

Good luck with your weight loss

Mary

Welcome! I haven't tried RC, but I like the magazine she produces. The chocolate mousse is straight from diet heaven. It tastes gorgeous (so gorgeous that dh loves it too, and he doesn't do "diet" food - he's lost a stone though this year LOL), it's satisfying, and it keeps chocolate cravings safely at bay.

PCOS is a pain, I have it too. I keep singing "I want to break free" as I have a moustache to rival Freddie Mercury's.

Thanks again, all. Mary, I have to say this - just seen your pics and you look stunning! Well done!

Yep I've tried the mousses - not only do they taste great, but they are vegetarian which is rare in a chocky mousse!

There's a new RC dvd out - Slim & Salsasize - and I understand a number of the RC classes now have a salsasize exercise section, which should be great fun, I'd think! I live in the middle of nowhere and have a lot of kids - so classes out of the question for me, but I do a lot of exercise 6 days a week and am building on it, so hopefully have that covered!

Cheers, PhatPhoenix x
