Default Unusual work out

I am beat and ache all over. I spent 3 hours cleaning my son's bathroom.
He (age 26) recently moved out and I bet that bathroom had not been cleaned real good in a few of years. Boy I strubbed walls, windows, shower door, 2 sinks, tolite, bathtub, shower walls. You name it I cleaned it except the carpet, I'll save that for another day.
I never went upstairs and cleaned his bathroom or bedroom while he was living here. I figured he was a grown man that he could do it himself. The last laugh was on me.
It sure was a good workout.
Hope you all had a good day today.

Hi Joyce,

I have been having a similar work out this weekend. Cleaning house for company coming. Too tired usually after working, so stuff gets "let go". I guess it is good that company comes every once in a while. LOL. A lot of clutter and dust. I guess the good thing is, I have been too busy to think about food too much.

Ohhhh, I imagine it all needed a good bleaching, LOL! Tomorrow I need to vacuum up the worst of the pet hair from the hardwood floors (thanking God for the invention of vacuum cleaners) and get some de-cluttering done. Lots of walking and bending in store for GW.

I am kind of the same. With working all week, by the time I get around to cleaning the house, it is a full blown work out for about four hours. I kind of approach housework the way Erma Bombeck did:

Housework, if you do it right, will kill you."
Erma Bombeck quotes (U.S. humorist

My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.
